Currently building Frames, a film photography notebook app for iPhone and Mac.

Vincent Tantardini is the founder, designer, and developer of Frames, an independent app created for film photographers who want to document and organize their analogue work with care. Drawing from his background in software design and product development at LINE and several startups, Vincent built Frames as a focused tool that supports creativity through structure and thoughtful design.

Frames runs on iPhone and Mac and helps photographers log camera settings, track rolls, and reconnect their shooting notes with scanned images. It simplifies an often messy part of film photography, turning it into a smooth and enjoyable workflow. Each feature is built with clarity and attention to detail, supporting both hobbyists and professionals who value precision in their process.

Vincent designed Frames over several years through direct engagement with the film photography community, refining its features based on real feedback and his own experience behind the camera. The result is a minimal, privacy-conscious app that keeps everything stored locally, letting photographers focus on their craft without distraction.

At its heart, Frames is about preserving the stories behind every photo. It captures not only the exposure data but also the intent and process that shape each image. Vincent continues to evolve the app with the same philosophy that started it all: to create digital tools that respect the analogue mindset and help photographers stay connected to their work.
